Fresh from their UK tour supporting Canadian psych-rockers Black Mountain, London-based septet MASS DATURA have shared an intriguing new single in 'CAT'S FOR KINGS'. Echoing whispers of The White Stripes, David Bowie, The Smashing Pumpkins and even fellow Londoners Toy, 'CAT'S FOR KINGS' is a spindly tapestry of clean guitar strums, rhythmic bass and eerie interactions between synthesizers and strings. Lyrically whimsical and sonically interesting 'CAT'S FOR KINGS' is the first in a set of 3 singles arriving from their forthcoming new album Wish Untitled, which was recorded in France at Capitola Analog Studio. Coming complete with a fuzzy, retro-looking video filmed and edited by Daniel Lucas and Tyler McLeod, its a promising introduction to MASS DATURA's new material. -Holly Mullineaux
